Hoi Grant as yes, they are while plenty-another were not-! I have some 'revised/revamp' versions with actual 'photo'-depiction of 'W.W.1'-'Beachhead', possibly 'Gallipolli'-! Here's an actual 'OZ'-Transport 'minis'-! I'm going to use them in BOTH 'A&A' Games; 'Pacific' & 'W.W.I'-!

I'm terrible at making my own counters, but some of the versions you and others have done for old games are such big improvements. I may need to up my crafting skills.

Hoi again as 'moi' made-up an entire 'countersheet' there, for usages in a '5-X' type of expanded "Grand Imperialism"-! Most of them are 'rub-on transfer' appliques with a few 'hand-drawn' assortment. 'F.L.' are your "Fearless Leaders" with them others being subordinates, or 'Army' units
& 'Transports', 'Chattel', 'Blank/Color Territory' markers.

I have 2 different DG versions of WW!, one being the Deluxe Edition, in addition to the SPI original. The 1994 version added the Middle East and I think there was one rule change that helped the game.
The Deluxe edition has a mounted map and more rule changes. The Middle East looks more extensive than in the 1994 edition, though feels like a side show and I'm no Lawrence of Arabia. Lots more rules. There are aircraft counters. So it lacks the simplicity of the original while clearly based on the original. Perhaps I should write a review after I finish Soldiers.
