On your page listing the podcasts, it would be helpful to have a short paragraph description for each podcast, instead of just the title.
Also, what's really needed is a volume control for the podcasts. I like to listen while doing other stuff on the computer, so simply turning down my overall volume is not an option for me.

Hi Rob. Good suggestions. I'll see what I can do about making a fuller description on the main podcast page. As for the volume thing, I totally get how that is frustrating. I've checked with my provider, but there's no option for a volume control on the webpage. What operating system are you using? On Windows 11, I can go to Settings > Sound > Volume Mixer and lower the volume for my web browser without lowering the volume for the rest of my machine. Perhaps you might be able to find a similar solution.

Hoi y`alls as could you have your 'Game'-image-(front page) being
LARGER?
We-elderly-old-grumbler-dudes can hardly make it out so, or, make it so we could "access" that in still another 'aspect'?

If this podcast remains successful for a number of years, I think you might find that implementing more detailed podcast descriptions at this point was a good idea, since you might not remember everything you talked about on each one in the future.
Too bad about the lack of sound control, as neither my Chrome browser nor my Win7 don't have the features you describe. And I certainly don't expect webmasters to still cater to Win7, as that's my problem.

One idea (am only on episode 14) is to have something like "Old Verses New" or "Gems or Junk from Yesteryear" the idea is you could take a "fresh" look at some of the old classics and see how they stand up (or fall down) by today's standards.
For example (I am a little biased) I am re-working the VASSAL module for SPI's Atlantic Wall, in the process I downloaded the DG version of the module and had a look at the rules. The VASSAL module is very well done and designed, and I like that DG expanded the map for the Cobra scenario, but when started looking at and comparing the old SPI rules verse the DG rules, I was soon taken aback at how much and how complicated DG made the rules. Reading of parts of the rules from DG kind of reminded me when I first started off as a computer programmer back in the late 90s and my head just started to spin (granted I am used to in depth rules such as ASL), but looking back at the 1978 SPI rules, things where so much clearer, maybe it was the white space, maybe it was the era, maybe it was the way SPI and crew developed rules back than, but whatever it is there is just something special about the SPI rules layout and more importantly the reading and understanding of the rules.

Interesting idea. I have dipped my toe in the waters of comparing games on a similar subject (a comparison of two games on Gazala in ep 28 and a round up of a few WWI air games a few episodes before that). But a specific comparision between old and new might be interesting. It's funny you should bring that idea forward. One of my first ideas for the podcast was to feature two games each episode, one new and one old. But not related. I just wanted to make sure I kept some of the old game alive.
