Just watched this on YouTube. Great interview. I've seen Paul Hederer interviews before and he comes across as a great guy, very knowledgable of his topic focus. However, your interview did illicit new insights into his new game that I'd not heard before. It was all fascinating and congratulations on guiding the discussion to these points. Very nice listen.
As an aside, to me the lighting after the bulb blowout looked somewhat more artistic and pleasing with the increased shading. I guess it's the amateur photographer in me that appreciates it.

Thanks for the comments, Brian. I agree, Paul was a joy to speak with, and really well-prepared for our chat. I may have asked him a few things he hadn't answered before, but that didn't slow him down a bit. He's really deep into his game.
And thanks for the comment on the lighting. I'll keep that in mind. I agree the lighting before the blowout was poor. Flat, really. I struggle find a good position for a catch-light for my eyes when I'm wearing glasses. In this instance, that light seemed totally absent, giving the whole thing a very 2D look. I don't know if I'll go full "moody" in future, but I will definitely try to find a setup that gives more shading, more depth. Especially in an episode like this one where it's a lot of my talking head rather than my head interspersed with photos of games.
