PRE-GDW 'Conflict'

Hoi y`all as many will recall about there being the 'Conflict'-brand prior to that expanding unto 'G.D'W.'-! While there was even 'G.R.D' for the specific 'Europa' series and carrying onwards as thus. I've often wondered/pondered about other 'Games' designed/devised/duplicated about what there was in this-(above)-? That happened on being within their 'Designers' editions and contained a mounted board, deeper-than-usual box, larger-(5/8ths square counters), compartment holders, & increased price. I've also seen their regular version of that, as well with the likes of 1st editions 'Bar-Lev', 'Overlord', 'Verdun', 'Kasserine Pass', etc, It would further expound upon 'Breakdown' units, 'Fortified Boxes'/'Minefields', also 'Recovery & Repair' concepts too for having them becoming 'Refit' and then being available shortly. 

I'd like to see this one. I'd not heard of it before.

Hoi "Grant" as I'd believe that the version of which is not the 'Designer's' edition-(displayed above), would be less costly, yet, thus didn't diminish this any while having an 'unmounted map'-! I've seen this in a much smaller 'Box'-iteration, while priced at 'collector's'-scale-? It was from someone unloading a 'collection' at the 'time', with plenty of others bearing costly 'sums'.  

People unloading collections have been a boost to my own collection. Two in particular provided me with probably 50 games between them at prices I never would have paid. Let me try a bunch of things that I would have otherwise passed over.

Hoi "Grant" as it was the Daughter of a 'collector' doing that, in her own 'Curios Shop', while I still have as yet visited her new 'place'. I did purchase several 'gotta haves' like 'Magic Realm'-(contained every 'Article' published) & more doubled its weight-! There was also a 'Comics/Hobby Shop' at the 'time' of which had 'collectibles'/'Model Kits', books, etc, & I bought from there a '1:35th' scale model of that "Aliens" 'A.P.C.' vehicle for much less than what this currently will 'command'. I always wanted that 'Dropship' of theirs while I did obtain a small 'Micro Machine' version,

I think I bought The Fall of Tobruk at Origins IV.
