Hoi y`all as I wanted to display this cover, because I once worked with the creator of 'Paper Wars' circa early 1990s, at his 'West Seattle' address-! That primarily consisted with mass-assembly of the main publication being sent along, as I had lain them out upon his 'dining table'-!
The 'Game' being shown is '1' from them, purposely foisted as a 'Solitaire' edition, while some others WERE: 'accidentally' thus-? I noticed that less than 1/2 of their countersheet are with counters for this, yet, was it an 'incentive' to garner the remainder-? The other 'phenom-ally' about them is the immense 'selection-collection' of dozens from another company they still published-! Check out their entire 'catalog' there: Compass Games Pages
