Hoi y`all as with this 'Game', it began the 'OPS'-plan-sheets feature, 'back-printed' counters with 'hidden' disposition, individual 'Forts'/'Complexes', 'Siege Guns', 'Step Reduction', 'Event Cards Option' and garnering proudly & loudly proclaim while being in a 'movie' of "The Thing", during the 'Flamethrower' scene in the 'Rec. Room' & who the HELL 'gave' one to "Palmer"-? There were also some 'Model Kits', while that damnable "Palmer" probably 'sniffed' every 'glue-tube' unto solidly 'solidified', the UN-grate-!

Hoi y`all as I've often wondered WHY none-another 'Game' had 'Assault Plans', of which you'd have to follow-? So, one 'suggestion' with THIS particular 'Game' is that you can provide several 'Plans' mapped-out, assign 'Die Roll'-numerals for each, & then 'roll' to choose each to be used, then Play according to selections-chosen-? For the 'Germans', then generally they choose how much they will 'assign' for the 'Russian Front' as the more they had, the better their 'chances' of 'Victory'-! but, the weaker they make the 'Western Front'-forces-? Bring-in any 'Event Cards'-situations that applied, and 'violent-violet-voila'-! I especially enjoy the 'aesthetics' of their 'Mapboard', depicting features as detailed of what there was then and looking 'old school' as it does-!

On different scale, but from the Gamers, don't the Tactical Combat series games use written orders that you ahve to commit to?

This has their initial deployments being designated by 'Plan Placement' and no further 'Order' kinds are being issued. I am aware of 'Games' where you would conduct that turn to turn or for some 'systems'/'Rules' with 'Order Chits' put upon those. Now, you may notate the general direction of 'Armies' ongoing, while they might become 'bogged down', so, it could take some time before completion of movements is made.
