Hoi y`all as 'moi' discovered this particular 'method' during the playing of certain 'Games'-! You have a clear-plastic 'overlay' placed upon the 'field/pitch/court/etc.' and drawing with 'grease pen, etc.' then you apply every 'outcome' onto that-! The other 'method' is shown above using 'drawn maps' with some 'paint app'-! I had several of that made to proceed as 'progress' is shown to include moves, 'Battles'/'Outcomes-2nd Moves', by having those drawn in 'colours' to indicate them.   

Interesting idea. I'm not sure I'd be interested enough in looking at it afterwards to justify doing it.

Hoi "Grant" as I initially discovered about this while playing a 'Football' game, in which a 'Quarter' of 'Plays' is marked-out along a path of progress until the game was concluded. You have 'Team Colours' of 'Grease Markers' & use them to denote/demark 'Plays' performed/adverse-outcomes.Yet another 'Football' game using 'Cards' as thus could have actual people upon them from local teams to 'personalize' that further-!

I played a similar football game, and also used to have a golf game that used the grease pencil tool.

Hoi "Grant" as 'moi' watched several USA 'Football' game recordings, recently, as they highlighted particular 'matches'-! Now, I'm of the mindset that those should become used to watch completed recordings of certain kinds, with those being 'Results'-driven of that-! The 1st has to do with a 'Dice'-iteration version, and I'll be writing upon that at my 'Blog'-!
