How many updates kits will we need for this game?
As a backer of the original Hannibal and Hamilcar from Phalanx, as well as a backer of the update kit that corrected the crazy dice, gave us a bigger box, and cleaned up the rules, I thought that was it. Apparently not as I got an email from Phalanx saying there is yet another version and another update kit. WTF?
Here's the text of the email:
Hello Everyone,
As you know, we’ll be launching a new edition of Hannibal (and Hamilcar) in a few weeks. Even if you already have one of the previous editions of the game, the campaign will offer you something yet unseen: a brand-new solitaire mode for Hannibal!
It will be fully compatible with both the Anniversary Edition (2018) and the Golden Geek Edition (2022). And while it will be available as a separate expansion, allowing all players to enjoy solo gameplay against either Rome or Carthage, you can get it for free.
How? If you follow the Gamefound campaign now, before it launches – that is, if you support the campaign in any way, regardless of pledge level!
