It’s been a hot minute since we released a new standalone hex-and-counter game, and we can’t think of a better candidate than Beware the Ides of March (MSRP $50), the new operational ancients sandbox from designer John Theissen (Campaign of Nations). This is the eighth of John’s games that we’ve released, and it’s an excellent showcase for the streamlined approach to cat-and-mouse maneuvers that has won him so many admirers.
