Ace of Aces is coming back in a new deluxe edition
Did you ever play Ace of Aces back in the day? One of the most innovative games ever. It’s two books, one for each player. Each page is a view from the cockpit of your plane looking at the other plane. There’s a list of possible maneuvers on the bottom of the page, with a number below each one. Both players pick a maneuver and tell each other the numbers. You go to the page your opponent told you, look at your maneuver there, and it gives you an end page. You both go to the end page and see each other from your new spots. Maybe one of you will be firing on the other. It’s simultaneous movement. It’s brilliant. There were a series of books for several types of planes, but they’ve been out of print for years. But now they are being reprinted. There’s a kickstarter for a campaign to launch the first set.
